Generating Tender programmes and carrying out progress assessments
Design & Construction of 13 Luxury Super Yachts - Produce the Design/Construction Schedule for 13 super yachts. With a staff of 285 people the yard had 4 boats in various stages of production at all times, with build times varying from 18 to 24 months. Through CPM and resources planning, assisted yard from break even to returning a 10-20% profit margin per boat.
Te Mihi Geothemal Power Station - Develop the EPC programme for Fletcher Construction during the Tender stage for the 160MW geothermal power station to be built at Te Mihi, Taupo. The schedule covered engineering through to commissioning and addressed details of constructability to ensure the timely delivery. Programme developed using Primavera P6.(Project deferred due to economic climate.)
Marsden Point Refinery Debottlenecking - Plan the fabrication, installation, shutdown and commissioning of the debottlenecking project. The project involved installation of new cracker units and pipework in an existing plant with a major shutdown to tie in and transfer everything across to integrate the new equipment.
Transport Infrastructure Planning – Primavera P6 Roll Out - Introduce staff at Auckland City Council to the discipline of planning in the collaborative environment using Primavera P6. Managed the roll out for 65 licensed users. Established the integrated planning Transport division.
Sylvia Park Shopping Centre - Develop, monitor and report against the EPC schedule for the 22ha shopping centre. Work closely with the project heads to ensure the timely handover of all areas to enable the various opening dates for commercial operation to be achieved. Advocate alternative methods of construction to minimise the impact on the public as the centre progressively opened.
