Planning Specialist, Operational Risk

Reporting to the Group Planning Manager this role assists with planning activities for major tenders and projects, to oversee and review project schedules and the assessment of risks for on-time delivery. I continue to lead the Group requirements for Schedule Risk Analyses on major tenders and projects

Contributed efforts towards Mining Process Plants , Non-process plant Infrastructure,Power stations, Underground services,Roads involving in following phases:

Tender Planning

Construction Planning

Performance Monitoring

Extension of time

Claims

Reporting & Analysis

Floor Manager and store coordinator, resonsible for smoothing operation of store. Store budgeting including over heads, P&L. Mansgement of 30 Staff in advisary and disaplenary capcity. Ensuring stores hit targets whilst maintaining margens and stakeholder satisfaction. Sechdule delivery and shipment for other large local and international clients.

The project was part of a nationally rolled out program to install fibre optic cables for high speed internet across Australia. Lend Lease was awarded design & construction contract in South Australia and Western Australia, cost AUD 800million. It was a Design & Build contract. Key responsibilities on the project are below.

State of the art hospital in Perth for children, 298 bed capacity and comprising 5 to 8 floors of three building blocks with overall floor area of 120,000 sqm, cost AUD 1.2 billion. John Holland was the Managing Contractor for the Design & Build contract. Key responsibilities on the project are below.

Over 25 Years in Construction, Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management and Contracts Management, working on behalf of the client, contractor and third parties in Australia, the UAE and South Africa.  

Project experience is broad and includes: Hospitals and Healthcare, Commercial, Mining and Resources, Airports, Power, Marine, Roads and Bridges, Piping and general infrastructure.

• Prepare tender proposal, fabrication and modular assembly works schedules.

• Develop baseline schedules in Primavera P6 as per scope of work.

• Maintain and update multiple schedules.

• Liaise with construction and engineering team for progress update and produce weekly / monthly progress reports.

• Provide monthly data to cost controller and project manager for cash flow forecast.

• Forecast on manning requirements provided to upper management on a regular basis.

• Perform critical path analysis and highlight any deviations to project manager.
