I've been working in program and project management systems since the late 1970s. I've led the development of major commerical project management software products, managed professional software development organizations, and managed consulting organizations. For the last 20 years I have led the implementation of project management techniques and systems in many organizations, both commercial and government.
I have more than 40 years experience in engineering, construction and facilities management. I am a Registered Professional Engineer in 6 U.S. states and hold an Asbestos Inspectors license in Virginia. I served 7 1/2 years on active duty in the U.S. Navy's Civil Engineer Corps and have taught basic contract law and various management courses through the local University. I current serve as President of the Virginia Society of Professional Engineers.
