The roles and duties as a Maintence Planner:
*Building work packages with correct information, Drawings, Specs, Any and all important documentaion.
*Reading and understanding contruction drawings.
*Identify and get proper materials, equipment, and personel.
*Material Precurment and control. (Track)
*Equipment rentals and control. (Track)
*Establishing great cummunication between operations, engineering, technical staff, craft personel.
*A planner is the organizer of the project.

Ø Development and maintenance of company work breakdown structure using SAP and Megamation.
Ø Tracking contracts, scope of work and purchases as they relate to contract commitments, schedules and progress
Ø Updating and maintaining project schedules in accordance with approved work plans, long-term strategic plans and other schedule and plan tools
Ø Consulting with, assisting, and advising Project Managers on all matters related to project controls and forecasts {for new and authorized work as well as changes in scope}
Electrician and Instrument Fitter from 1991 - 1998. Management brought me in from the field to become a scheduler which I worked from 1998 - 2004. I moved from E & I construction to multi-disciplne industrial engineering in 2004 and have been scheduling engineering projects form 2004 to current. I learned to schedule using Primavera P3 and I am currently using P6v7 and waiting or my company to make the move to version 8. I have experience scheduling industrial petro-chem/refining projects from front-end development through mechanical completion.
Chemical complex shutdown and most equipment sold overseas, natural gas contract lost and pricing made the operations unprofitable. Worked way up through operations from an “E” operator to an “A” operator and was promoted to Production Shift Supervisor in 1982 during the startup of the PACE (pool chemical plant).
Cost Analyst, Project Manager, and Field Engineer. Duties included construction of Nextel tower infrastructural equipment buildings. Many buildings were elevated in swampy areas. Most areas were so remote that planning included all materials and hardware needed for complete and uninterrupted construction.
Construction included 8 feet high waler walls and free standing concrete stairs to access buildings 8 feet above the ground. On-the-run Cost Analyses.
