I began my "turnaround" planning experience in 1994. I began my refining career in 1979 as a welder/fitter for Ashland Petroleum. After 10 years as a mechanic, working with my tools, I moved to a front line supervisor and then an area coordinator. I began planning turnarounds in 1994. I began using P3 to plan turnaorunds  in 1998. We moved to P3e in 2003 and I continued to plan using Primavera Project Manager until my retirement. I was the site manager at my refinery for Primavera and developed a introductory training program for the corporation.
