Juan V. Curbelo Méndez, PMP is a Professional Project Manager with over 20 years of experience in the industrial, pharmaceutical and infrastructure projects. He has been involved in projects with budgets exceeding 500 million dollars. Extensive experience managing the triple constraint controlling and balancing the scope, the cost and the time in construction.
Work in the Creation and revision of preliminary master schedules for operations. Maintain a master schedule for each project and identify and record the impact of work performed and not performed as scheduled. Evaluate actual construction progress and provide regular schedule updates.Interface with operations, owners, and subcontractors to discuss impact of work and resolution of problems. Contribute to the development of working schedules for Estimating, prior to proposal date, which sufficiently illustrate the sequence of work activities and contract time.
I operated as the Resident Inspector in charge of the infrastructure improvements and urban renewal of the Mayaguez Urban Center; construction and conversion of Antigua Plaza del Mercado to mixed-use; and improvements and rehabilitation to Colon Plaza, in Mayaguez, Puerto Rico.
