With 7½ years experience in the construction industry, Matthew has gained a strong understanding of M&E planning across a variety of sectors. Starting with Bailey Rail in 2006, Matthew learnt to deal with the types of challenges synonymous with high security environments. Moving onto Bailey Building Services in 2007, he was able to broaden his scope whist working within the commercial and education sectors before utilising his experience on a high-profile Central London project combining both rail and commercial environments.

A large office new-build on the north bank of the Thames in London, Matthew’s role was to assist the Senior Planning Engineer in the day-to-day management of the M&E programme. Using Asta Powerproject, Matthew’s duties would include marking up installation drawings, updating and inputting progress into Asta Powerproject, analysing critical paths and producing short-term lookaheads along with the Engineering team.
PLANNING ENGINEER, NG Bailey, Building Schools For The Future (BSF)
Under the UK Government's 'Building Schools for the Future' scheme, NGB were appointed to provide the mechanical and electrical services for various schools across London. Managing the programmes utilising Asta Powerproject, Matthew was responsible for monitoring and reporting progress and productivity for schools in Catford, Sedgehill, Greenford and Stoke Newington.
