I am the Planning Manager & Lean Construction Champion for the MoJ Prison Framework for Vinci Construction UK. I take a strategic view of planning for all the sites and tenders, and have been tasked with introducing Lean Construction to Vinci.

Principal Planner for construct only contract under NEC 2 Option C contract conditions.

Works located at Abberton Reservoir, Layer-de-La-Haye, Essex involving enhancements to the existing reservoir to increase its capacity by 58%. This will be achieved by raising the level of reservoir by approx.

Mace employed me to assist with the planning for the construction works for the Main Contractor, Logan Siemens Consortium, North Terminal.

• Develop the existing programme framework.
• Develop mini-programmes to assist the project team manage weekly works.
• Providing planning support for Project Lead Planner, and Mace Construction Managers.
• Updating the schedule and report internally on a monthly basis (client requirement).
• Monitor steelwork erection, secondary steelwork and fire protection activities.

Prior to the Gatwick Project Mace employed me to maintain the plan for the Enabling works for the Baggage Integrator at Heathrow Airport, Terminal 1.

• Adapted and developed preliminary work breakdown structures (WBS) to suit the specific job scope
• Played a key role in the development and maintenance of Pre-tender and Tender schedules for new projects
• Development and Maintenance as well as Level 3-5 schedules for Engineering, Equipment manufacturing / fabrication, Testing and Installation.
