Project engineer, project Manager on various overhead powerline projects from 11kV to 400 kV; new build, refurbishment and replacement. UK focused but deployed to projects in Germany and Cyprus for short projects. Also managed fibre optic installation on OHL networks.

Training as a navigation / deck officer learning how to manage my own time. Safety focus.

Currently working within a structural engineering organisation as a graduate planner / project manager. I have been working very closely with the both the project manager and construction manager of a multi million pound MOD project, producing a programme which brings together all the stages of project, including the engineering, fabrication and construction. The project itself is very unique, in brief it is a steel frame structure which when completed will assist in the decommissioning, refueling and maintenance of nuclear submarines.

Senior Planning role involving civils, earthworks, fixed equipment installation and commissioning.

Leading team of 12 planners within the Systems and Completions Groups.  Responsible for the delivery of critical planning functionsd to the project leadership. Maintaining the Strategic Level programme for leadership presentations and baseline reviews  and monthly Earned Value updates.

Managing multiple sites for residential refurbishment projects. Key responsibilities include project planning and scheduling, managing site Health & Safety and ensuring completion of projects within time and budget. Coordinating between the client, sub-contractors, engineers and suppliers for smooth work flow. Enforcing suitable measures for minimising the discomfort for building occupants at live project sites. Site monitoring to ensure the best quality of construction work.
