Project Controls Assistant - Scheduling

• Work with the Programme Planning Engineers to build induvidual project plans from first principles using an agreed work breakdown structure to support Project Development Engineers and Major Infrastructure Development Senior Project Managers.
• Coordinate a number of projects with limited complexity and write up with the schedule section for the monthly project controls report.

Project Controls Assistant - Estimating

• Support the preparation of budget estimates for the plant costs and risks and contingency allowance aspects of proposed projects at all stages of development from business case to award construction contracts.
• Assisting in maintaining and updating the eHub cost database to reflect current costs, including extracting actual cost data from complete projects.

System Administrator: P6 EPPM on-premise (2012 to 2018) & Cloud SaaS (2018-) 

Preparing Estimates for Capital Schemes.

Supporting tender negotiations.

Supporting the Analysis of Alternatives to find the least cost best fit option.

-The production of pre-tender cost estimates for electricity transmission projects, with a high focus being applied to transmission via extra high voltage cables

-The production of cost and scheduling models with the use of expert judgement and historic data

-The development of cost estimation models to reduce the resource time required for estimation.

-The identification of the independent variables to which cost is highly sensitive is central to this

-The use of EclipseCS estimating software
