Project Handled
Reporting to the Project Director, I had responsibility for the management of the overall programme of delivery for Southeastern High Speed project.
I was employed on this short-term social marketing pilot contract to develop the initial project programme, associated budget, and implement project controls reporting procedures and systems to streamline reporting to the client – the COI and the Department of Health. Both my employer (K-Generation) and the client team were delighted with my outputs and they have now been adopted for delivery of the project.
Working for the Client (Union Railways North), I was responsible for all aspects of the planning function of the Project Controls Department. My initial assignment involved developing and implementing an Integrated Client Programme (ICP) for the completion of the multi-billion pound Section 2 of the Channel Tunnel Rail Link Project.
Working closely with senior management and contractors, I was responsible for coordinating and consolidating various programmes into P6 to ensure timely completion of power upgrade and other associated works for the Olympic park and surrounding areas in East London. This involves managing the integrated Project Managers programme, analysing critical paths, resourcing and other issues to completion and advising remedial and course corrections as necessary.
Working as part of the Alliance Affiliate team on the LUL Station Mods/Upgrades Project, I was responsible for the production and implementation of cost and resource-loaded P3 programmes for LUL station refurbishments and upgrades (BCV stations), Special Projects (Fire Protocol, Train Crew Accommodation, and LV Mains), production of reports and KPIs, and presentation to senior management on a bi-weekly basis.
