Responsible for developing tender documentation and project programmes to fulfil the client’s requirements. Development of the cooperate strategies and tender submissions to mitigate risk and analyse the contractual obligations required and also:
• Evaluating new opportunities and client (tender/PQQ) documentation
• Development of Tender proposals, Pre-qualification documentation
• Programme management of the companies cooperate strategies and resource allocations
Ensuring the NDA estate has a coherent programme through which it’s remit can be delivered. This programme covers 120+ years and C£80bn worth of scope (undiscounted). This role is also responsible for the detail of the internal plans and ensuring the scope is aligned to Strategic Priorities and gives Value for Money to the tax payer.
Providing planning support to projects across the company. Using Microsoft Project and P3. Also involved in the risk management process across the site, facilitating risk workshops and providing the relevant risk logs and Probability Impact Diagrams to allow effective risk management
Providing Planning Support to internal projects and developing the business plan for the organisation. Responsible for development of the latest issue of the Scheduling Project Control Procedure for the Site Licence Companies to follow, it’s intention being to gather the SLC’s information to build a national Lifetime Plan of the decommissioning and operational activities associated with the 20 sites NDA has responsibility for. Also authored the Work Instruction for the interim health checks associated with the previous issue.
Provided planning support to projects within the BNFL directorate. Recruitment and management of a small team of Planning Engineers and a Cost Controller. Responsible for the role out of client processes for reporting and control, along with development of the Near Term Work Plan schedules and cost estimates. Also responsible for identification of improvements within AMECNNC’s planning processes and providing support to the tender process. Using P3e and Microsoft project, also with knowledge of Open Plan.
Various overhauls of petrochemical plants in the North West UK.
Transferred to Reprocessing plant in Cumbria on a new build and also took on existing projects whilst based there
Senior Construction Planner - Responsible for the creation and management of CAS programme to NEC3 contract (civil) standards to include earned value management.
