Responsible for the planning of the cradle to grave phases of a £500m nuclear new build facility (Front end engineering and design, licensing, construction (Building & Civil) & installation and commissioning).

LyondellBasell (formerly Shell Chemicals), Carrington

Planning Consultant

Responsible for providing planning support on a polyethylene chemical plant shutdown and associated projects. The support required included production of hourly schedules in order to minimise the shutdown duration and avoid lost revenue.

Capenhurst Nuclear Services (CNS), Capenhurst

Senior Planning Engineer

Responsible for providing planning support on various uranic material management and nuclear decommissioning and recycling projects, including earned value management, resource requirements and all other project control functions for reporting to senior management on NEC3 contracts.

This is Balfour Beatty Major Constructions first integrated project combining their Electrical division and their Mechanical Bromborough office. Additional to the development of the M&P scope with the integration of the E&I scope was the alignment of supervision to the benefits of timely and accurate reporting allowing them to arrange their resources more efficiently.
Due to ongoing scheduling access issues with other contractors, engineering and material shortages the project was re-baselining twice.

Nuvia November 2012 – May 2014 PLANNING MANAGER (Nuclear Design)

• Lead Design Planning Engineer working on the SDP Plant at Sellafield. Joined the ‘team’ to lead the existing ‘area design planners’, introducing standards and QA into the existing operations.

• Appointed Planning Manager after 3 months, due to the quality and self-initiatives that I had already incorporated into the planning function.

Atkins May 2014 – May 2016 PLANNING MANAGER (D&E / Major Projects)

• Heading up the Planning and Project Control functions for ‘BSRP’ – Barrow Strategic Redevelopment Programme, £350M Capital Investment.

Worked with L&D, Change & Investigations Teams on large-cost saving project in UK & India that saved £1.3m for Bank’s Global Risk & Remediation project
