Planning Engineer – Covanta – Dublin Waste to Energy Project– April’09 – Jan’10.

Covanta Energy’s “Energy-from-Waste” facilities convert municipal solid waste into renewable energy. The Dublin project is circa €300 million facility, which marks Covanta’s most significant entry to date into the European waste and renewable energy markets. Jacobs Engineering are responsible for overall design and construction management of the facility.

● Scheduling of works;

● Site management;

● Traffic management plans and real life installation;

● Setting out, levelling;

● Site administration;

● Health and Safety on site

● Establishing construction strategies for projects;

● Scheduling for tenders, ongoing works and Extension of Time & Delay and Disruption Programmes (including resource levels, schedule constraints, risks and opportunities) using Primavera P5 and P6 and MS Project;

● Assisting Project Managers during planning, construction and completion stage of project life;

● Progress Reporting;

● Constant development of schedule layouts to show information requested;

● Continued input into Value Engineering;
