Project Planner, Redis Construction Afrika (PTY) Ltd

In this role I was a Project Planneron Multi Discipline project where i worked on Primavera P3, Resource Loading  was done by myself as well as the Supervisors. I worked closely with Material Control as to see what stock had been brought to site and what else was needed to order to complete the Project.

Project Planner, Time Mining (PTY)Ltd

I was Project Planner on a Multi Discipline Projects, I Worked on Primavera P3 and MSP, Resource loading wasdone by myself. Weekly updates on P3 and MSP were done. I Also worked withe Procurement Office to get a better understanding of the procurement process as well as placing of orders and arrangement of shipment of good the Middle Africa.  

Project Planner, Wade Walker on GMEP Grootegeluk Mine in Lephalale.

In this role I worked on Primavera 6, responsible for Resource loading was done by myself as well as the development and updating of Histrogram, S-Curves and Look-A-Heads. I used P&ID's to update and to follow progress. 

Current Position : Project Planner , Exxaro Grootegeluk Coal Mine

In this role my duties include Microsoft Projects Scheduling, Forecasting, Resource Loading and Earned Value. There is close cooperation between the Project Manager and myself. Weekly deliverables include Histrograms, S-Curvesand Look-A-Heads.

Competencies Development:

In my positon as Project Plannerat Exxaro I'm faced with many challenges which require from me sevaral Competencies.

Responsible for managing Project Controls Department. Project Control Lead for SAPREF (South African Refinery Joint Venture between Shell & BP. Fluor Contract with SAPREF is to provide Long Term Technical Services Agreement.  Scope of work and Services is to provide Engineering Consultancy for all phase of FEL (BOD,BDP, BDEP, EPCm) services. Manage CAPEX/REVEX budget, from Conceptual Phase up to Construction Management from Pre-Shutdown and Shutdown execution. Manage Project Controls team in on site and interface with SAPREF counterpart on a daily basis.
