A project-based environment where I assisted in the development of customized, enterprise financial and performance management solutions for management reporting (MPR, P/L, GAAP, IFRS) and budget planning / forecasting. Project locations include Nigeria, Benin Republic, Cote D’Ivoire, Senegal and Togo.

Roles:

As a Database Analyst in the Procurement Unit, I support the Procurement Manager in in-depth review of tender and bid documents, review of Project Master Schedule for all Procurement activities and monitor the progress of the project phases in accordance with the scheduled times, cost, quality estimates and objectives. I am also responsible for sourcing and recommending suitable and qualified suppliers for the materials/services needs of the organization, monitoring and evaluating vendor performance, as well as maintenance of procurement database and management information systems.

1. Coordinate overall project scheduling, progress measurement, cost, estimating and change management • Conduct briefing sessions for project team members with respect to project control requirements and processes • Participate in gathering and recording lessons learned for the project • Participate in alignment meetings with the Contractor(s) and PMT to ensure common understanding of cost, schedule, estimating, progress measurement, and change management requirements

Ø  Provided orders and results on contract negotiations

Ø  Paid frequent visits to dealers and other potential customers

Ø  Increased sales by 3% over a period of 8 months by introducing new method of revenue generation

Ø  Acquired new accounts through efficient and effective communication of new products

Ø  Exceeded sales target by 5% over an 8 month period while working in a highly saturated market 

Ø  Participated in review of project master plan, schedule, control and documentations

Ø  Monitored and controlled progress performance in terms of schedule and resources
