Initially responsible for drilling cost control and accounting on the unsuccessful Boukhechba exploration campaign. Set up cost systems to calculate daily well costs and attended daily rig calls to ensure accurate and complete cost tracking and reporting.  Provided regular updates of drilling cost performance versus budgets, forecasts and AFEs.

Successfully completed a backlog of well reconciliations and complex inventory reconciliations left over from the drilling and construction phases of the MLN appraisal and development project.  Reconciliations were finalised with immaterial-value write-offs.  Performed a gap analysis to identify drilling cost control process weaknesses then worked with staff in implementing the updated processes.

-        Define the scope of the project in collaboration with senior management

-        agreeing project objectives

-        Determine the resources (time, money, equipment, etc) required to complete the project

-        Develop a schedule for project completion that effectively allocates the resources to the activities

-        Develop and maintain master baseline schedule

-        Set up  Project Control procedures

-        Set up Progress measurement system

-        Schedule update in weekly and monthly basis

Materials buyer ; ensuring that the materials required for construction projects are provided to schedule and according to projected budgets, in the most cost effective way.
Identifying potential suppliers and new products
Contacting a range of suppliers and sub contractors to obtain quotations and agree delivery times.
Providing advice to the project estimator on the predicted cost of individual items
