I have involved with various project specifying in project planning / scheduling & monitoring. I am currently involved with the construction of Al-Zuhour Water Treatment Plant in Baghdad, Iraq as a Senior Planning Engineer.

q  Managing a team of 3 planners

q  Develop a Level 4 Integrated Schedule for Construction Scope of works.  

q  Integrated Engineering, Procurement, Construction & Commissioning Disciplines,

q  Tracking Progress, Weekly Schedule Update, Monitor impact on Critical Path

q  Analyzed the estimates for allocated Budgets to different Work-Packages for the project.

q  Managing a team of 3 planners

Quantity Surveying & Cost management:
•Cost Estimation & Cost control, Contract Management, Procurement Coordination;
•Prepare BOQ recapitulation;
•Prepare Monthly Financial Affairs Report;
•Prepare and Maintain Interim and Final Quantity Books;
•Check the Contractor’s interim and final pay certificates;
•Evaluate unit rates for new items of works;
•Check joint measurements for interim payments;
•Compute final pay quantities;
•Maintain current as-built drawings as the work progresses;
•Maintain progress schedule and cash flow chart;
•Assist in preparation of Variation Orders.



Ø  A Civil Engineer / Quantity Surveyor with more than 15 years experience in Project Management, Cost & Quantity Management, Contract Management, Coordination and Team Management with well known organisations.

Ø  A keen Quantity Surveyor with competencies across:                      

L*A WTC (American Company)in Cairo from 1 Feb 1993 Till 31 Mar 1994

In head office my Duties:

·  Planning, Time Schedule and follow up the projects.

·  Make Monthly progressing reports.

·  Help in claim section.
