• Lead, coordinate and manage the delivery of the Annual Work Program (AWP) within the Maintenance Directorate, focusing on achieving safe and cost effective performance, timely project deliveries and reliability objectives of the asset and business.
• Manage possession strategy and planning to coordinate effective delivery of the AWP, external party, and major capital upgrading and development projects.

• Working on various projects throughout the Africa region and responsible for delivering key assignments within the region, reporting to the Director of Planning.
• Responsible for Forensic Delay Analysis of contractual programmes to demonstrate the impacts of acceleration, disruption and delay claims.

Job Description as Snr. Planning Engineer • Preparation and submission of Clause 14 Programme and revision of it according to the Consultant comments until obtaining the approval of the program. • Preparation of Weekly Progress Report and Monthly Progress Report. • Issuing Look Ahead Program and Micro Program for Site Engineers’ implementation on site. • Attends Weekly Progress Meeting and performs planning requirement/s that might require by the Consultant or Client.

Working on a number of construction contracts within the Piers and Infrastructure Development Team at Gatwick Airport, with a combined value of around £30m-£35m. The contracts included upgrades and improvements to the surface water handling systems across the whole of the airport site, and beyond, including some sensitive environmental areas. Another contract was to replace and upgrade the cladding on two bridges which span over Gatwick Rail Station and the last contract was to improve external airside access.

I worked as a Planning and Resourcing Manager working on a MoD PFI Project in Wiltshire. The value is circa £100m and my work is to programme in detail the area of work I am responsible for. Once converted to a live project upon Financial Close my role will then be to monitor the progress the work with my remit. This will involve monthly reporting to my immediate line manager and also to the team as a whole so as to keep the project focused on target finishing dates throughout the projects duration.

Assistant Planner based on site with Warings Contractors Ltd undertaking the programming and monitoring role. Main responsibilities included producing short term programmes (and package programmes) monitoring progress against both the contract and target programmes and reporting to both the company management team and the clients team on the current project status. Typical project values were £15m to £20m, often with two running together and usually run as Partnership deals.

Construction Planner for a Division of Rollalong Ltd, a volumetric and modular building system company. This involved project performance monitoring, divisional KPI formulation and maintaining a planning database. Project values varied from £500k up to £3m, usually with at least five projects working simultaneously but often up to 15 running at the same time and mostly on JCT98 contracts.
