Residential Construction Project

Performing estimates/take offs for residential houses, apartments, condos, as well as renovations. Trained at 84 Lumber’s “Lumber Camp” on how to do take offs and read blue prints.  Took responsibilities in running operations, logistics, sales, and managing staff at store with a budget of $11 million.  Performed job site visits to meet with contractors and subcontractors to organize meetings and schedule delivery times.  Discussed with vendors pricing, organized delivery schedule.  Organized delivery drivers and loads and helped with managing yard staff.

Position: Supervisor

• Overseeing up to 30 tradesmen including:
  • Carpenters, Concreters, Roof Plumbers, Electricians, Painters etc
• High end residential construction industry with an extreme attention to detail
• Liaison with the client on a daily basis
• Quality Control and review correct Construction Methodology
• Ensuring a safe environment for all tradesmen and personnel entering the site
• MS Project schedule development and analysis to understand project slippages and rescue plans where required
