Regional Rail Link

The first of several RRL packages to be awarded and the timely

completion is critical in delivering the overall project to the client (MTM/DOT).

Being a design and construct project, the team had to hit the ground running in order

achieve the dates for PC. 

 

Since contract award, the team and myself have encountered many challenges, such as

producing documentation to get access to site and managing external interfaces.

Working around a busy, live rail environment requires careful pro-active planning

Regional Rail Link, Package B - Design. An Alliance project to separate regional and suburban trains. Increasing speed for regional trains and increasing capacity for suburban trains. Working with the Discipline leads, I am responsible for the preparation of the fee for submission as part of a paid dual TOC bidding process.

Senior Planner working on Package E of the Regional Rail Link running west from Melbourne.  Package includes 25km of new track, 2 new stations and a number of structures.
