& Power infrastructure works and 132kv/66kv substation distibution station

The Bicker Fen substation is the new substation which processes the electricity generated by the onshore wind farm. The power is then fed into the National Grids’ existing Walpole Substation. Alpha was contracted to construct civils elements of works to the client’s design. Our works included the construction of numerous piled foundations, super grid transformer bunds, a control building which includes a steel structure with composite cladding walls and roof complete with internal blockwork partitions and full M&E installation.

 • Developed comprehensive baseline CPM schedule.

• Responsible for opening, updating and closing cost centers of the project.

• Allocated the resources for activities and calculate productivity of projects.

• Updated schedules and analyzed manpower and cost allocations.

• Cost Estimation.

• Maintained a report of actual cost against estimated budget for all current projects at the site operations and submitted it monthly.

• Forecasted the estimate at completion to anticipate the cost trend of the project.
