Nuclear New Build (Hinkley Point C)

Major Projects PMO manager.
Responsible for the development and implementation of PMO processes to support National Grids UK portfolio of major projects.
Supporting the Senior Project Manager (SPM is the internal customer) to deliver a programme of works. Providing assurance back to the business that the programme isn't being delivered.

1) Implementation of reporting strucutre for PMO Programme reports

2) Led and facilitated the change in the monthly project review meeting process

3) Project lead on Risk management enterprise system buisness case sign off

4) Providing data for key corporate strategic objectives

1) Production and further analysis of the Major Projects PMO Reporting

2) Delivery of the PMO for the Project Controls Improvement plan

3) Delivery of the Corporate Executive reports for Capital Delivery

Currently lead planning engineer for Laing O’Rourkes’ working on the Hinkley Point Workers Accommodation construction project in Bridgwater. The project is a large scale civil engineering project involving the construction & fit out of 900+ pre-built accommodation modules, large scale amenity building, offices, landscaping & highways works.

Incomplete at the moment will be populated at a later date.

I am working for Nuclear New Build (NNB) project in UK. My role is a Project Scheduling Engineer mainly responsible for Commissioning and Pre-Operations schedules. The scheduling software used is Primavera P6. I occasionally use MS Project as well (sometimes I do receive a draft schedule in MS Project from colleagues in non-scheduling department to work on).
