POSITION: PROJECT PLANNER

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:(at kusile power station)

·      daily verifications

·      weekly updates

·      Monthly Reports

·      Welding Meters Capturing

POSITION: junior planner

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES(at kusile power station):               

·           daily weld tracking

·           daily progress update

·           s–curve progress reports

• Update project dashboard with various- Earned value, Burn rate, resource allocations, Key Milestones on weekly basis
• Analyse and manitain all reported project activities, emphazing items such as slipped tasks, variance, scope variations and upcoming tasks.
• Educate and advise project teams on various project management processes.
• Collaborate with project team to ensure schedule are accurate and changes and impact are accurately reflected in the schedule.
• Identified and managed critical activities that might put the kep milestones at risk if they slipped.<

I started in the planning industry in June 2015 as an Assistant Planning Consultant and am now at Junior Planning Consultant

·        Planner and quantity surveyor

·        Calculation of all projects related costs

·        Creating and updating of project schedules

·        Attending progress meetings with managers & clients

Provide technical advice, lead cross-functional teams, and implement process improvements throughout all phases of various construction projects.

Monitor and report contractor planning and work operations including creating progress reports for internal management and for client to track project milestones.Execute successful projects by collaborating with senior management and contractors to effectively plan, troubleshoot issues, and develop evolving solutions.
