Project Controls Manager on Dubai Metro project (The Engineer; Parsons Systra), oversaw the Taking Over of the Green Line.

Responsible for the specification and implementation of a Master Projects Database (MPD), an earned value management (i.e. cost and schedule management) programme enterprise system to facilitate the co-ordination of works and projects between contractors and interfacing parties on London’s infrastructure and rail portfolio; £6.3 billion of infrastructure / system works.

• Improved the procedure to control and monitor time aspect of the project. Created formats and charts for tracking key resources and manpower. Developed catch up schedules and mitigation programme to nullify or minimize delays, if any.

 

• Improved payment certification procedure, which resulted in more amounts being certified by the Client. Initiated submission of detailed back up sheets and liaise with Engineers representatives.
• Analyze the impact of variation instructions issued for the project. Manage earn values and generated S curves.

• Planning and controlling civil design undertaken by ATKINS of both lines of Dubai Metro including utility diversions, viaducts, tunnels, stations, 3 depots, and associated E&M works .

Preparing the Time Impact Analysis for Contractors,

Forensic Analysis using different methods like As Planned Impact Analysis, As Build Impact Analysis. Window Analysis

Preparing the Claim Programmes, Reviewing the Claim Programme.
