Recruited to lead on a major water pipeline project. Had 3 supporting planners, but unfortunately the "Production Managers" thought they were in control of the project and how it should be planned. Highlighted various issues on the project as there was a belief because it was linear that it could be handled like a production line, but there was no consideration for the 400km's of GI, SI, 1400 crossings, ecology, archaeology, land owners, restricted access, construction limited times due to transport and areas such as schools, significant logistics, etc.

Initially employed to be a PM, but due to previous planning experience I was also heavily relied upon to support others with planning in P6 and MSP on projects from £10m - £400m

Client:AWE April 2015 to July 2017

Development and Control of Schedules for M&E and Fit Out for a Major New Facility, including management of contractor schedules to ensure timely delivery of required outputs. Development of an Integrated Master Schedule for integration to the clients Business System.

Development and maintenance of P6 EPPM. Product Support, development od process improvements, training and mentoring.

Senior Project Planner.

 Creating and maintaining fully resourced and cost loaded project plans for a defence contractor.

Using MSP, Primavera P3 and P6 I create the master project plans, and report EV and progress data from them

 Using MSP I create "What If's and theoretica scenarios to enable change requests and variations to be understood by the Project Managers.
