• Manage TAR Planners and Planning Coordinators to drive consistency and adherence to BP Guidelines in planning and planning processes.
• Leading TAR SAP implementation, training refinery personnel ongoing.
• Created, Revised and Standardized documents for TAR Planning and Scheduling
  • TAR Scope Development and Optimization Guideline, Work package creation guidelines, file storage guidelines, standardized field planning forms, Scheduling Guideline, EWO procedures and forms.
• Schedule the Contract Planners and Contract Schedulers and provide oversight.

Seconded into the BP Bulwer Island Oil Refinery in Brisbane, Australia Turnaround team.

I play a key role in the planning/ scheduling for major Oil refinery shutdown events where the schedule is an important tool in ensuring the huge workscope can be carried out in the time frame allowed. Workfront interfaces, resource requirements and exclusion zones through heavy lifts, unit start-ups etc all form part of the planning process. There are up to 700 men working on the turnaround during execution.
