Site Engineer

•        Reporting to the Project Manager and carrying out his directives with respect to field operations. Being thorough familiar with the requirements of the General Contracts, and thereby identifying changes and conflicts that are beyond the scope of company responsibility.

•        Studies and interpret structural and architectural drawings in detail to have a good judgment in site operations. Developed the installation plan and schedule with the Project Manager and Project Engineer.

I was assigned to manage a site for Electrical Work.  

Supervision incharge of the construction sites of the firm, managing day-to-day activities of site, controlling labors and equipment.

Supervised and managed daily construction activities of Saïda Complex which included 24 residential bldgs. ($ 12 M)

Key Role  :

ü  Ensures activities during assigned project execution are consistently performed in compliance with the established procedures.

ü  Making a planning/ Target Schedulebased on time frame of working, quantity and methodes.

ü  Arrange the resourses of materials, labors and equipment to support the finalizing of the work.

1.      Supervising the functions and responsibilities oftechnicalsupervisors.

2.      Involved with the project manager to establish a program implementation schedule which shows Cascade implementation steps.

Supervised construction of residential and industrial projects to make sure that work was being done according to engineering drawings and specifications. Communicated progress and any important issues to senior management.

Supervised construction of large RCC structures at Fauji Cement Plant Project (Pakistan) and ensured their timely completion as per design and specifications. Prepared work methods for miscellaneous construction activities. Prepared and verified monthly bills and bar bending schedules.

As a college student I managed to secure work most holidays with Major Contractors working close to my home adn took a year out working as a labourer for a small local builder.  Projects worked on include Site Engineer - setting out for Laing on a new hospital construction in Hastings, setting out Engineer and planning for ARC during reconstruction of sea defences in Hastings, owrking in the estimating and planning departments for William Ellis Ltd Etchingham, speculative and council house builder, tender reponses and claims collation for Fairclough in Maidstone, Planning and site supe
