Working as a site agent with a leading a team in the construction of new taxiways, widening of various taxiways and rapid exit taxiways to enable the Airbus A380 to taxi to Terminals 4 and 5.

Cambridge Airport Fuel Bowser Park (£250k)

Working with a very small tea as the Project Manager constructing a new fuel Bowser park at Cambridge Airport. All works airside in a mixed use commercial and MOD airfield. Due to the size of the contract I carried out all pre construction works inc CPP, programme and relevant paperwork.

Progressed from trainee to active management position, role included on site management for the £15m construction of 3, New Build EADS office blocks in Newport.

Site Agent for civil construction contractor, responsible for management of construction site operations on small to medium sized contracts, directing efforts of work forces of between 10-50 people and 1-3 foremen/supervisors and subcontractors.

Directly responsible and accountable for all aspects of construction management on site and cost reporting.

Construction of a Water Treatment Plant for Mossel Bay at Kleinbrak River and assisting another site team under an inexperienced Site Agent at Natures Valley with technical advice on a bridge construction project.

Responsibilities: Planning, procurement, cost, schedule, safety and quality management of road works and bridgeworks on a variety of projects in North and South Wales.

1987-8                   Site Agent for Marine Civil for small craft harbour, set up site and pre‑cast yard and started main breakwater construction. Some marine plant design.

Responsible for Site Management of projects from start up to completion including planning, executing and control of the works.
