Senior Planning Engineer

Fit priorities (WBS) + Prepare master & detailed program up  to level 6 + follow up the site activities, design & engineering activities + updating the program by work to identify critical path + prepare internal report for the "head of engineer & chief executive director" + applying indexes to measure progress. 

Project Planning

Preparation of Project schedules & Bid Schedules as per standard activity list and WBS structure, with technical logical sequence. Liaise with relevant department and confirm their commitments in schedule. Freeze the baseline after approval from Project Manager/Customer after resource leveling.

Carry out basic Estimation for the project schedule as per the Standard norms.

Primary role is to oversee and execute all planning and scheduling aspects of District Cooling Scheme projects in Saudi Arabia with contract values ranging from SR300M to SR500M. In accordance with the Project Procedures and as approved by the Project Controls Manager, my responsibilities and commensurate authority to accomplish the following duties are as follows:

• Initiation Phase: Review contracts of assigned projects and defining the project scope in Package Dictionary. Create Level-1 schedule for presentation to client with back-up of time calculation.

Jan 2007 – Feb 2008, Site Planning Engineer, Dar Al-Handasah (Shair and Partners)

Anantara Palm Jumeirah Hotel and Tiara Residences Nakheel Properties, Dubai-UAE.

The Tiara Residence consists of 7 residential towers with 16 floors for each.

The Anantara Hotel (5 Stars Hotel-244 Guest room & 132 Apartments) and Podium Area.

The project area measured 266,000 m² and cost:  2.1 billion dhs.

During this project assignment my responsibilities included:

YasIsland, ALDAR Properties, Abu Dhabi-UAE.

Yas Island is 25 km2 island strategically located between the coast and cities of Abu Dhabi and Dubai, It is being developed with a range of world-class hotels, theme parks, golf courses, mega malls, apartments and villas with associated Infrastructure.
