Planning Manager for Dubai Race Course Project Maydan ; Project Control and Claim

Planning Manager based in Cairo overseeing major projects in Egypt, Syria, Sudan & Libya

Roles and Responsibilities :

• Extensive planning and project controls experience in Civil Engineering, Building, and Utilities. Clear understanding of commercial and contractual forms of contract. Extensive experience of developing programmes from first principles. Experience of direct delivery with civil engineering trades

Responsible for planning and project controls of Civil works, leading a team of 12 planners.

$2.5bn Gautrain Project, Johannesburg, South Africa.

New suburban railway and rolling stock, comprising 80km dedicated track and 11 new stations.

Over 14 years of rich, qualitative and in depth experience in Construction Planning & Management, Site Construction, Resource Planning, Contracts Management, etc. Currently working with Techno Engineering & Associates Middle East WLL, Muscat, Oman as Senior Planning Engineer. Applying project management knowledge, technical and interpersonal skills and project management tools and techniques to meet the requirements of large to medium projects.

Planning & Scheduling of all the Company’s projects.

Develop fully detailed schedules, proposing amendments and alternatives to it and to the project construction as considered advantageous to meet or improve on project targets.

·         Creating WBS of the Project on regular basis as per changes in the design and other additional activities.

·         Calculation of manpower and resource for the Project and Allocation of resources specific for the project

·         Preparing Cash flow Statement for the project using Primavera.
