• Establishing, reviewing and managing planning procedures to be undertaken on all projects;
• Detail planning, scheduling and delay analysis of all aspects of EPCM for diamond mining;
• Project resourcing and input into Cost Management;
• Working with site staff to ensure that the necessary schedules are in place, are compiled in accordance with company principles, policies and procedures, and have consistency; and
• Project monitoring and reporting using established trend reporting systems

Review & approve contractors' schedules (level IV) and "S" curves for all areas, such as conveyors, crushing, grinding, tailing thickeners and dam, Rail terminal, power distribution, infrastructure, WWTP, and pipelines.

Detailed review and critical path analysis of recovery plans with regard to resource loading, feasibility and interfaces with otheres.

I have been engaged in planning for 21 years dealing with production through multi disciplinary projects, from inception through commissioning. My career has progressed from the shop floor (Boilermaker) to the current post of Planning Lead. Experience has been gained in production, power generation, process plant, petro-chemical, aluminium smelting, breweries, Copper mining, covering all disciplines. Currently I form part of the Owners team, based in Warri, Nigeria. Present project portfolio totals some US $5 Billion, ranging from Flow stations through to Central Processing Plants.
