PLANNING ENGINEER

Planning engineer seconded to DUSUP through Ingen Ideas LLC (Now part of Foster wheeler) for a Gas plant expansion project. Responsibilities include:

       -Project Planning , Progress reporting

      - Integrating/ tracking contractor plans into Master schedule

     - tracking contract variations

      - Input to weekly/ monthly reports

      - Developement and mainteneance of Doc Control system

Ø   Responsibleforplanning,reviewandoversightofconstructionprojectmaterialscontrols,documentcontrols. ResponsibleforPlanningandSchedulingforNDIAloungefitout project.

Ø   InterfacewithProjectManager,ConstructionManager,ConstructionCoordinators,Planning&Controls,Engineeringandlogisticalpersonnel.

Ø   SubmitstoclientandtoSEPAMmanagementaccurateandontimereportsonprojectplanning&scheduling&progress variances.

Ø   Responsibleforplanning,reviewandoversightofconstructionprojectmaterialscontrols,documentcontrols. ResponsibleforPlanningandSchedulingforNDIAloungefitout project.

Ø   InterfacewithProjectManager,ConstructionManager,ConstructionCoordinators,Planning&Controls,Engineeringandlogisticalpersonnel.

Ø   SubmitstoclientandtoSEPAMmanagementaccurateandontimereportsonprojectplanning&scheduling&progress variances.

 Participates in the preparation of Project Operational Plan, Master Construction Schedule and PERT-CPM for an Effective Project Planning and Monitoring of the Progress of Works in Project Site.  Details the Schedule based on the present condition/workability of project site.  Resource loading based on the Construction Schedule.  Set-up Monitoring Tools for Efficient Progress Accomplishment. Tracking.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

Reporting to the Planning Manager, my role as Planning Engineer involves the following activities

-       Verification of Scope of Work for the Project and definition of Standard Man-hours against each Cost Center

-       Development of Level IV plan in P3(approx. 3000 Activities)
