Planning & Scheduling and Preparation of Reports ( Daily Report, Weekly Report and Monthly Report )

Planner at the VELUX project office in the development department. I was employed as planner in a project office supporting approximately 80 project managers. The project office was a part of VELUX Product Development. The product development follows the Stage-Gate model, and the planning was carried out in Primavera. My main task was support to Project Managers regarding
Primavera and Planning in general. Furthermore, I provided the Gatekeepers and Management with data enabling them to prioritise the projects and giving them “GO” or “Kill” options.

• Mobilization plans.

• Analyze the Critical Path using CPM / PERT.

• Progress tracking and manpower productivity by daily / weekly tracking sheets.

• Manpower histograms and progress curves for analysis.

• Look ahead programs, including clash checks to ensure readiness to progress.

• Site material planning and Quality management system.

• Prepare risk mitigation plans and assess regularly.

Achievements: Prepared micro planning for all the activities and closely monitored the same, flagged up the issues and risks involved so that achieved the first 2 miles stones of the project.

Introduced new and user friendly practice for easy and close monitoring of activities.





Responsibilities:

Project Undertaken: Infrastructure Development works for the Jaber Al Ahmad City project N1 & N3. The proposed area of the project is 982 hectares that will accommodate approximately 5700 dwelling units of Kuwaiti foundation.

Work included Planning, Scheduling and Controlling of the whole project to meet the objectives managed by senior management. Prepare various schedules and reports for Management and clients on the revision to all scope, estimate and schedules. Quantity Calculations, Technical tender evaluations. etc.

I was assigned as Planning Engineer in the Project Control Department at the Saipem Corporate Headquarters in San Donato, Milan. I was tasked to help in the development of Planning Procedures and Construction Schedule of the Soku Gas Plant for Shell Nigeria and the Offshore Pipeline, Berths Installation in Jamnagar, India for Bechtel/Reliance Petroleum Ltd.

I also prepared Construction Schedule for Bid Proposal of Texaco Exploration Myanmar Inc. 30” Pipeline & Valve Station Installation and the Water Pipeline System of Venezuela.
