Started construction career straight from school into family groundworks business. (1989 - W&D Friel) Attended Stafford College for ONC and Wolverhampton University for HNC in Civil Eng.
In 1991 Friel construction was founded with a focus on providing Civil Engineering services to large residential developers and industrial clients.
In 1995 I took a working years holiday in Australia, working for Ford Civil Pty on the rail tunnel improvement programme for the 2000 Olympics.
