Planning and Scheduling at the tendering and construction stsages using primavera 6.7 and excel

• Modify the existing overall schedule using PRIMAVERA P6 software.
• Create list of wbs, activities, its relationship with other activities (predecessors/successors), and lags for inputting in PRIMAVERA P6.
• Estimate staff effort for each activity and forecast the duration of each activity using a standard productivity rate data.
• Organize activities by defining and assigning activity codes.
• Subdivide the overall schedule in 2 weeks look-ahead schedule.
• Create a milestone schedule that highlights the major elements of the schedule.

Manage Primavera5 programmes for various high profile sites, around the city, as part of Carillion Utility Services’ £40M contract on the Edinburgh Trams project.

Monitor and analyse sites’ Earned Value capturing issues which could impact on the programme. Assist in redirecting Operations efforts and focus on maintaining site productivity.

Identify future programme risks/opportunities, passing on salient points to Construction team and Project Director.

Provide support to claims process through "as-planned Vs as-built ", and "time slice" analysis.
