This project is one of the largest civil engineering projects undertaken in the world.  The concept is to take potable water from two aquifer fields in Tazerbo and Sarir, 1000km south of Ajdabiya, via a 4.3m diameter concrete pipeline from each to firstly a mixing reservoir in Ajdabiya, and from there by two separate lines, one to Benghazi and the other along the coastal plain to Sirte.  The 4.3m diameter pipeline was manufactured in 4.5m length sections, in two strategically placed plants constructed for the purpose, and shipped along dedicated haul roads constructed and maintain

This role required me to step-up a gear in programme development, the co-ordination / integration of various parties and the collection and presentation of project schedule related information. Coming from a predominately claims background, an Alliance seemed a little foreign. Although design was on-going and changing throughout construction the same date for practical completion remained and thus the programme was highly dynamic.

Currently the Planning/Cost Control Manager for Dongho Korean Saudi Limited Co. under Al Bayan Holding Groups Middle East responsible for the company’s regional strategic development management and heads up the planning, programming and controls department and functional oversight of the Bids/Tendering and communication division.

Project Planner - Sewer Rehab schemes since November 2010. Set up of programmes to allow compliancy to Client requirements. Cost allocation and review. Update with Earned Value Analysis and Critical Path Analysis. Report submission  to Client. Project Progress Meetings. Liaison with design and site teams. Use of P6 and MSP
