WSSC is the 8th largest water and wastewater utility in the nation, with a network of
more than 5,500 miles of fresh water pipeline and nearly 5,400 miles of sewer pipeline.
The majority of Louis Berger Water Service LBWS’ new work is taking place in Baltimore and includes designing a water main, managing a sanitary sewer overflow Consent Decree Program and providing construction management services for the city.
LBWS is also managing a sanitary sewer overflow consent decree program for Baltimore County.

Responsible for 7 associates planning 300km per year of water mains rehabilitation. Own the direct labour and external sub contractor resource programme, ensuring the resource is correctly allocated to the works. Responsible for producing weekly cost / sales reports to monitor profitability of works by teams and projects.

Design and costing of water mains extensions and diversions, ordering non-stock material, control of costs, monitoring progress of schemes, preparation of final accounts and dealing with prospective developers and site agents on a day-to-day basis
