Planning Engineer/Project Controls. Assigned to Projects R999/3 “Canal & Costal Works” and R999/5 “Completion of Business Bay Outstanding Works” to provide planning and project controls functions. Review of Contractor progress reports, schedules, and other deliverables on a weekly basis. Conduct a weekly presentation to RTA concerning the progress status at Site. Provide support and guidance to contractors and Consultant in better handling the progress and planning reporting activities.
The Victorian Main Replacement Programme (VMR) was Thames Water largest capital project for the regulated period and the largest civil engineering programme in Europe. As a Lead Cost & Planning Controller I was responsible for the programme planning, cost control and reporting for over 90 projects, with a total value of £200M a year. Main duties included supporting the Senior Team in delivering the programme safely on time, within budget and to specification though the management of the production and maintenance of programme schedules resource and cost plans.
