2017 – 2018 Lead PMO Planning and Controls specialist on the €100m National Telemetry Programme at Irish Water. Role was to design and implement improved PMO Processes and Tools for planning and reporting (using MS Project 2013 and Power BI), Document Control (SharePoint), RAID Management, Change Control and Cost Management. Circa 3,000 Activities planned to deliver a range of IT and OT Projects over a 5-year period.
I joined National Grid in 2012, and moved to Project Controls to work as a PA in 2014. In 2017 I was promoted to Project Controls Officer, and produced a number of project reports. In 2018 my role changed to produce executive reports, as one of my strengths is writing. I enjoy the stakeholder management and engagement, liaising with a number of people within the team and outside of the department. I am trusted to handle confidential data, and enjoy working to deadlines.
Project Controls Officer
This role primarily involves the production of a range of executive reports on behalf of Ian Cartwright, Capital Delivery Director. The reports are:
1. Exec Headlines (produced monthly for Nicola Shaw, UK Executive Director)
2. Monthly Performance Report (produced monthly for Alan Foster, UK Chief Finance Officer)
3. Capital Delivery Scorecard (produced monthly, incorporated into the MPR)
4. Quarterly Performance Review (produced quarterly for Nicola Shaw, UK Executive Director)

- Collect CMMS notifications and job cards; create maintenance order and plan, assigning resources and spares
- Review and develop daily maintenance schedules and validate the work orders are scheduled according to their priorities , handling number of work orders and with resources availability
- Obtain material, spares, services requirement from maintenance section and prepare scope of work, specifications, code number.
