Providing strategy analyses and planning services for M1 Widening Project.



The project aims to widen the M1 motorway near Nottingham from the north side of junction 25 (Sandiacre) to the south side of junction 28 (near Pinxton). Approximately 23km will be widened from 3 to 4 lanes in each direction to provide additional capacity and reduce congestion.

Work started in October 2007 and is due to be completed by Autumn 2010.

Providing planning and global resource management services for A1 Project Phase 1.



The Phase 1 is the concessionary section of the A1 Motorway, approximately 90 km in length. This part is the most northern section of the A1 Motorway which starts in Rusocin near Pruszcz Gdański, south of Gdańsk and ends in Nowe Marzy near Grudziądz.



On Polish territory A1 runs from Gdańsk, through Grudziądz, Toruń, Łódź, Częstochowa and Katowice down south to Gorzyczki where passes on the State border.

Cost estimating- Estimate At Completion

Set up of Project Work Breakdown Structures

EPCM hours forecasting and updates

Generate and update budgets

Forecasting project cash flows

Develop and analyze trends and statistics

Change Management (NEC3 Compensation Events)

Prepare monthly cost report

Providing cash flow estimates for Client’s Capex budgets

Preparing estimates for Transnet Capex Committee

Escalation Calculation

Tracking Forex exposure

Ad-hoc reporting to the client
