Current Role

3 month contract to tidy up hacked P6 programme with too many inexperienced users and rudderless contract planners.

Programme was fully resourced, using timesheets, and their primary actuals and forecasting repository & tool.

Required some detailed analysis into data, and many hours of correcting erroneous data, cost plugs then aligning of P6 cost values with the G/L and excel based Cost Analysis Report.

Baseline also needed to be updated to to bring it into alignment, along with the correction of the Stored Period data.

Responsible for Preparing the Baseline programme, Maintaining the works programme up to date, update the construction work progress incorporate any extensions of time, critical path and What-if analysis, Prepare and update Time chainage diagram, program status, Three/four weeks look ahead schedule through weekly construction meeting.

Preparation of monthly report and preparation of documentation required from Management to tight timelines and changing requirements to reflect the requirements of the programme, Construction photographs and report to management accordingly.

Managing Gauteng region, detail schedules for PM’s and Sub Contractors. Monthly management reports including costing, resource loading and S-curves.



Included recruiting, training & mentoring of staff to ensure the efficient running of the Project Planning department. Resolve all issues relating to the planning department to ensure effective reporting and project monitoring on a monthly basis.



I currently have 13 planning staff on my org chart with an additional 8 vacancies to fill as soon as we get the go ahead with the expansion that has been planned.

Civil Engineer in Roads and Infrastructures design&build

Project Planning, Monitoring and Control of the construction of Afghanistan-Tajikistan Bridge over river Pyandzh, Tajikistan under the ownership of US Army Corps of Engineers.

Involved in “The Golden Quadrilateral” Express highway (Bangalore-Pune sector) by NHAI, India- The project was stabilization of vertical walls for flyovers and bridges for the express highway. Main Contractor was L&T India. Consultant was LBG, England.



Duty was to supervise the casting of precast panels for the walls, delivering to site and Systematic erection of the same. Overall co-ordination between the contractors/subcontractors employed at the site, and reporting to higher management.

I have 18 years of experience in the project managment with main focus on planning, phasing and interface between buildings and infrastructure, out of this I have been working in the following projects since 1998:



1.     Dubai World Trade Centre (Management of the design and construction of the infrastructure, substations and district cooling).

2.     The Lagoons- Dubai Holding. infrastructure, roads, building, substations and district cooling plants.
