I am an employee of the local government - provincie Flevoland - in the Netherlands. I am the planner of our civil projects. We build and reconstruct roads. At first we make a portfolio of projects. At the end of each year a number of projects has should be ready. I translate the projects in our portfolio in activities. I use Asta Powerproject v11. The projectengineers use my plannings to run their projects. the projectresources use my plannings to do their activities and the managers use my reports.

Scheduler tasked to create a schedule representing the construction process of the bridge using original contract estimated resources, schedules, and other contract documentation. Estimator reviewing plans and specifications to determine resource quantities not included in the original construction plan and implementing this data into the schedule.  Designer who created a 4D model of the bridge construction process for presentation.

Scheduler producing an as-built schedule for the construction of the highway after the project is finished using daily reports, contract documents, previous schedules, and other various project documentation.
