Proficient in setting up project control standards and processes required for the business to deliver projects efficiently. Develop the workflows and configuration of software tools required for efficient use of time and resources.
Has strong analytical skills and computer literacy. Can deliver resourced programmes of any complexity. Implement project control cycle, Earned Value Analysis and performance reporting.
The Resource Planner was created as a new position within the company
Given specialist position to manage Scotland East training provision for 500 staff. This responsibility only exists in Scotland
Auditing and evaluating training courses

Creating cost effective rosters based on track access
Developing systems to best allocate manpower based on access, leave, terms & conditions & training requirements
The Manpower Resource Manager was created as a new position within the company
The remit of the Scottish M.R.M. is all on-train staff based in Inverness, Aberdeen, Glasgow and Edinburgh; in total 300 staff
The responsibilities of this role include: -
Creating cost effective rosters to cover all turns of duty while minimising overtime
Creating computerised reporting systems for all manning issues
Analysing the resultant figures and making recommendations concerning future crew deployment to the Business Analyst
