Reporting to the Project Director, I had responsibility for the management of the overall programme of delivery for Southeastern High Speed project.
Working for the Client (Union Railways North), I was responsible for all aspects of the planning function of the Project Controls Department. My initial assignment involved developing and implementing an Integrated Client Programme (ICP) for the completion of the multi-billion pound Section 2 of the Channel Tunnel Rail Link Project.
As Lead Planner on the £18m Ashford (Wye to Minster) re-signalling scheme, I was responsible for the production and implementation of a cost and resource-loaded P3 programme based on the target estimate. This involved direct management of various sub-contractor Planners, production of weekly reports and KPIs, and regular presentation to senior management.
