Possession planner in rail, attending progress meetings, liasing with project manager and P3 planner organising work sites and access for red and green work sites for mcnicholas rail in conjuction with network rail.

Based in the head office on Tottenham Court Road, London, reporting to the Project Controls Manager (planning and costing). Monitoring and reporting on the production and issue of all project deliverables to site, against the project programme. Primarily using Primavera P3 project management software and Microsoft Excel as reporting tools.  

Westinghouse Rail Systems are exclusive suppliers of signalling equipment for the Metronet Consortium on both the BCV and SSL refurbishment projects for London Underground. The SSL project is currently in the design phase and the application / installation programmes are currently being developed. As a member of the SSL project team, tasked with the development, maintenance and progressing of a mid-level (7500 activities) baseline programme for the entire SSL project (£700m). Reporting directly to both the Senior Project Manager and Programme Manager.

Reporting to the Chief Estimator. Duties included:

• Preparation of detail tender programmes covering design, installation, test and post commissioning works. Early identification of external factors such as road closures and third party interventions/ approvals ( e.g. Local authority consents for road closures).
• Production of Key Tender supporting deliverables such as resource loadings for installation gangs.
• Analysis of key factors affecting operational efficiency such as red zone working restrictions and available rules of route.

Responsible for project planning and performance measurement on the West Coast Route Modernisation, encompassing major resignalling works. Duties included:

• Preparation of detail programmes for design, installation, test and recoveries.
• Production of Key Performance Indicators including milestone trend charts, Earned Value Analysis and Resource loadings.
• Preparing detailed duty rosters and hour by hour schedules in support of major blockade based commissioning works.
• Preparing reports and analysis for senior management and client use.

As a Senior Member of the Project Management team on the Lantau and Airport Railway Communications Project in Hong Kong, specific responsibilities included:

• Programme Development and Risk Management.
• Project Financial Reporting e.g.

Working on major infrastructure upgrade on the West Coast Route. Duties include:

• Collating and analysing progress achievement across the project.
• Updating the contractual P3e programme for review with the project management team.
• Client reporting and issuing of weekly programme updates.
• Preparing internal reports as required.

Working on the Thameslink Programme (TLP) on Operational Telecoms and Minor Civils Works. Involving:

• Progress and programme reviews with Subcontractors.
• Updates to the main programme for submission to the DfT and TfL respectively.
• Preparation of accountability dashboards ahead of the Main board Review process.
• Preparing internal reports as required in support.
