Project Manager – EPS 3 (Sellafield) Project

Halcrow’s role on this project was to provide civils & integrated management support to a multi-company project structure reporting to BNFL (Sellafield Sites).

Employed to aid a technical Project Manager on the EPS 3 project to undertake all planning, reporting, earned value & forecasting, costing & invoicing on the Encapsulated Product Store 3 project.

In July 2009 I was sent out to Trinidad to work on a project there for 3 months.  The team consisted of two Mechanical Engineers and me. 

All planning was carried out by me; after the planning was complete I took the role of supervisor.  

In my training I took part in several SMTD courses (Supervisor and Management Training Development)

I also have a license for fork lift operation and a safety passport.

In July (12th to the 14th) I was on a Primavera (P6) training course which I now have a certificate for.

I spent from September 2008 to December 2009 as a Trainee Planning Engineer for Doosan Babcock. 

During my employment which ended due redundancy I took on several projects. 

While working in Cockenzie Powerstation (East Lothian) I ran and maintained a full unit shutdown as well as getting contracted to refurbish pipework in a distillery in Edinburgh.  As well as these I ran basic maintained work on the station.
