After completing a 3 ½ year advanced apprenticeship (with 1 year onsite as a mechanical fitter apprentice) I moved on a planning career path at AMEC. Starting in the design department using CAD skills I had learned during my HNC I was exposed to the initial phases of a project. 12 months later I moved into the planning department where I started building schedules working closely with the planners, estimators and QS’s.
In 2012 I was promoted by amec to a Planner.
Single Planner for a 15 Million pounds per year storage tank project at Phillips 66 Humber refinery seconded directly for the Client.
(New tank build, major tank repair and tank maintenance).
Heavily involved with both client and contractors planning, scheduling and reporting multi-phase, multi-discipline and fully resourced P6 programs. Creating outputs for project management, business production, engineering, commercial, and coordination teams.
Alan served his time as a Plater / Templatemaker for a Fabrication and Construction company in Greater Manchester in the 1970's, he has 10 years Structural steel fabrication experience with exposure to Structural detailing from GA's to programming NC Drilling machines in the UK.
Client's Site Project Services Manager responsible for the Planning & Reporting, and oversight of Contracts Admin and DCC functions for the Project. Planning role includes the monitoring and review of Contractors Baseline and Update submissions to ensure compliance with Company & Project requirements.
I'm working in Tehran Jonoob Technical & Construction Company that is an EPC contractor in local and international markets, active in Oil, Gas & Petrochemical and industrial sectors. my responsibilities as a project control expert is making daily, weekly and monthly report from the progress of Oil & Gas Condensate Refinery of Bandarabbas and control the project as well as it possible and of course planning project into the periods of time (weekly and monthly plans) and making out data banks such as PMS.
