Lead Planning Engineer & Planning Section Head; Initially working for Amec (KPO’s Engineering contractor) in their Uralsk office on the Unit 2 Material Replacement Project (U2MRP) and subsequently working directly for KPO in their project offices in Aksai, as the Lead Planning Engineer. The U2MRP project scope was executed over multiple phases, consisting of 3 Train shutdowns, 2 Unit Shutdowns (for the tie-ins into common systems) and multiple segments of pre-shutdown work.
Senior Planning Engineer Rajasthan Northern Development Project.
The project consisted of a main process terminal (MPT) to handle 150, 000 bopd produced from 18 oil wells with water coming from 20km away and gas from 80km
Using P6 I administrated the database, set up user profiles and security, prepared the WBS and structured the activity codes for the level 3 integrated schedule.
Lead Planning Engineer for Foster Wheeler on an EPCm contract. My role involved the integration of 6 (P3) sub-contract schedules into one master schedule and the ongoing co-ordination of the master schedule with the interfaces of 7 other EPC contractors to provide services such as, HV power, steam, fuel, water and chemical pipelines and the construction of the main control room & 8 new Sub-Stations.
Project Control Engineer for BE’s Projects Division, developing Level 1 P3e (v4.1) plans taking projects from initial concept through to completion, to level 4 schedules used to control and monitor progress of the site installation / construction phase of projects. Duties also included the production & maintenance of comprehensive cost reports indicating information such as current sanction, commitment, and actual costs, incidence forecasting and costs at completion.
Senior Planning Engineer for px Limited, leading a multi disciplined alliance in the production of detailed resourced Level 4 P3 schedules for the annual shutdown of gas and steam turbine generators. Duties also included monitoring and reporting daily progress, ensuring compliance with system handover deadlines, production of s-curves and productivity data, used to focus effort and maintain tight shutdown windows.
I/E Planner for the construction of the Thebaud Topsides Facilities for the Sable Gas Platform at Kvaerner’s Port Clarence yard. Responsible for updating the P3 plans, cable schedules and job cards etc. to produce weekly productivity and progress reports by discipline.
