* Initiate Project Management Processes which is based on proven project management methodology from the PMBOK for all projects. I have done projects ranging from $100K - 2 MM that ranged in duration from 5 to 30 days in length. Due to the size and durations of the projects, I estimate I have done around 70 projects, the contractors reporting on those would range from 10 -150 contractors per day.
• Using project management to aid me in project controls tools, techniques and methodology (PMI) to aid the Project Teams in having an accurate project scope and schedule through the project management lifecycle.
• Analyze construction projects on risk, duration and overall schedule. In this process I can analyze and report to the Project Team and Upper Management on the actions that would be the best for the project to take in order to meet cost and schedule. This information will aid in the decision making process and help the organization reach its goals.
* Created detailed job plans and job packages for medium to high risk jobs. This was done by traveling to the site, scoping the work and holding meetings with SME’s to discuss deliverables, progress and upcoming milestones.
* Required to give an accurate budgetary estimate of my projects +/- 10 %. This required me to be very aware of the tasks to be performed and the cost + duration of those tasks.
* Responsible for receiving requisitions; validating them and converting them over to a purchase order for maintenance purchase less than 10K for 25 facilities. I also maintained the database for budgets for the locations for major maintenance and reliability costs.
* As the purchasing agent I negotiated price and delivery of all maintenance items that I procured.
* Maintain the Hold Harmless listing of current suppliers, which are a database of all contractors that have been legally approved to work onsite at our facilities.
* Operated the Air Separation Unit (ASU) to maintain production with the changing usage of our customers.
* Onsite control system specialist who was responsible for backing up the historical data at the ASU and making approved changes to the control system.
* Management of Change Approver / Originator for the plant, which included writing, submitting and approving document for the ASU.
